First Hand Knowldege and Experience with Dewitt

Having worked for our Town over 28 years prior to serving as Director of Planning and Development- it's hard to find a candidate that knows the in's and outs of DeWitt they way Andy does.  His career with our community gave him a working knowledge of the issues faced by the Town of DeWitt, the solutions used for those issues and the victories achieved by the Town of DeWitt.  This is a candidate  whose experiences in working for our community will be invaluable to our Town Board.  Andrew’s career at the Town of DeWitt was dedicated to improving the quality of life for all DeWitt’s Residents and Businesses. Andrew’s honest and kind approach was always welcome and his ability to solve problems to an amicable solution was always an asset. “I believe no matter what the obstacles are or how deeply rooted your mindset is, there is always a solution”.

A Town Board Member That Puts DeWitt Residents' Safety First

Andrew also served as a Fire Commissioner for the DeWitt Fire District. During his term he helped negotiate union contracts with the Fire Districts employees, worked on the annual budgets, assisted with the condemnation of the prior fire station and the ultimate construction of the new fire station.  As a life resident and career employee of the Town of Dewitt, Andrew has seen many changes to DeWitt some good some not so good. He believes we can do better.

A Message From AndrewMr Mrs Worden

“One thing that hasn’t changed is DeWitt’s people. During my employ with the Town, I have had the great pleasure of meeting many of you either through a permitted project you were doing or assisting you with a complaint. Either way I have enjoyed engaging with my fellow “Dewittians,” we are all passionate about the town we live and work in, as we should be, we have all made an investment to live, work, raise a family, and retire here. The recent barrage of assessment increases is now threatening our way of life in Dewitt. Many have seen substantial increases, and these increases are now making it difficult on some of our younger homeowners and our seniors. I have spoken with some of you and the very real threat of losing your home is not something taken lightly. I am committed to making DeWitt a better, more affordable place to live, to build community, not just a slogan on a website.”
